FAQ

  • When does the season start?

We generally try to start in late April or early May, mostly depending on the weather.

The season ends generally before school ends in mid-June. Some of the older divisions go a bit longer due to playoffs and championships.

  • What equipment does the league provide for my player?

Every player gets a team shirt and hat or visor. Coaches have bats, helmets and catcher's gear of a common size. It is strongly recommended that players purchase their own helmets. For softball players, a full cage helmet is required. Parents are responsible for providing a glove, cleats, socks, pants and for boys -- protective cup. Additional equipment players can purchase are bats and their own catching gear.

  • When will practices start?

This is weather dependent. The fields must be free of snow and playable (i.e. not muddy). Coaches hope to be able to use fields the first week of April.

  • Can I request a coach or player to be on a team with my player?

We consider requests but we can’t make any guarantees. Our priority is fairness, especially when there are multiple teams in the same divisions.

  • When do the practices and games occur? What's the schedule like?

Generally, we start the week prior to April vacation. Have April vacation off and end during the last week of school in June. It is a mix of 5:00 to 5:30 and 5:30 to 6:30 depending on the age and division!
